(DOE) + BenefitsPOSITION SUMMARY:The Carpenter willreportdirectly to theProductionManager and encompass a strong knowledge base for carpentry and general handyman skills.This position is responsible for completing customer service callsthroughout their assignedregion.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Identify and isolate roof leaksRepair stucco, siding, drywall, and soffit damageComplete minor solar electrical workPerform rivet placards, dig trenches,repairroofs and/or ground mountsNotate any issues that require correcting andnotify the ProductionManagerService, add, or remove solar panel systems when necessaryReview job site pictures and gather all necessary parts to ensure inspection successfully passesPerform onsite pre-inspection prior to the arrivalof the inspectorOpen electrical panels and/or junction boxes for easy access and inspector's visibilitySet up and tie off ladders for the city/county inspectorsMaintain companyvehiclesserviced and stocked with necessary materialsEnsure a safe working environment through strict adherence to and enforcement of company and industry safety standardsIdentify gaps and risks in safety standards andmakerecommendationsto managementEnsure tasks are performed according to organizational requirements for quality management and environmental, health and safety standards, policies, and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Education & Certifications:High School Graduate or GEDMinimum licensing requirement to legally perform the job in each marketExperience:Must have a minimum 1-year experience in carpentryA minimum of 2 years' experience roofing/carpentry/handymanExperience with all AHJ guidelineswithin the regionKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Strong interpersonal and human relationsAttention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsRegular, reliable. and predictable attendanceAbility to work well with others in a collaborative team environmentMaintain a clean and safe working environmentSpecial Skills & Training:Familiarity with electrical plans and field layoutsStrong analytical and creative problem-solving skillsGood motivation with an attention to productivity, detail, and safetyAble to worksafelywith heights on ladders and in confined areasAble to read and understand plansPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ABILITIESUse hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controlsStand for long periods of timeWalk or run for long periods of timeClimb ladders, scaffolds, or polesKneel, stoop, crouch, or crawlBend, stretch, twist, or reach outRepeat the same movementsSee details of objects that are less than a few feet awayDetermine the distance between objectsUse fingers to grasp, move, or assemble very small objectsMake quick, precise adjustments to machine controlsHold the arm and hand in one position or hold the hand steady while moving the armUse one or two hands to grasp, move, or assemble objectsUnderstand the speech of another personUse muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objectsSee differences between colors, shades, and brightnessMove two or more limbs together (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while remaining in placeUse stomach and lower back muscles to support the body for long periods without getting tiredKeep or regain the body's balance or stay upright when in an unstable positionReact quickly using hands, fingers, or feetConstant need of peripheral visionFrequently lift, push, or pull 50-70 poundsFreedom Forever is an equal opportunity employer.
