Applicants must possess a FEMA Entry on Duty (EOD).Please ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely."¬"¬"¬ ResponsibilitiesConduct geotechnical investigations and soil analysis for project planning and development.Develop engineering designs for foundations, retaining structures, and soil stabilization.Perform field inspections to assess soil conditions and project compliance.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on disaster recovery and infrastructure projects.Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and recommendations.Support FEMA-related disaster recovery efforts and adhere to applicable federal guidelines.RequirementsEducation & Experience:Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience in a related field and professional registration.Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of experience in a related field.Certification: Professional Engineer (PE).Completion of FEMA courses preferred:IS-1000: Public Assistance Program and Eligibility.IS-1001: The Public Assistance Delivery Model Orientation.IS-1002: FEMA Grants Portal - Transparency at Every Step.IS-1004: The FEMA Site Inspection Process.IS-1018: Determination Memorandums and Appeals.7116: Program Delivery Manager.7117: Site Inspection.Work onsite in North Carolina.EOD Required.
