This includes installing and repairing sinks, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures, as well as appliances including dishwashers and garbage disposals.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete plumbing, drain cleaning, and other related in-home, service and install calls.Serving the clients of the company by expertly servicing customers' entire plumbing system.Wear floor savers while in the client's home and maintain a neat work area when performing a repair or scheduled service.Always explain to the client the service you are performing. Explain and show the client how the company provides superior service.Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services.Re-check all plumbing repairs and installations after you've repaired or replaced it, before leaving the client's home to ensure everything is working properly and that we did indeed fix it right the first time.Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans.Explain the club memberships to the client, giving them an opportunity to join. Maintain an average of converting at least 25% of non-club members and maintain a 90% renewal rate on existing club members.Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.Maintain your truck so that it is neat and clean on the inside and outside at all times. The truck is one of the best billboards that the company has. Park the truck for the maximum impact of the "billboard" when possible. Work alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business.Always be safety conscious both on the job and while driving.Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings and retreats.Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, curbside feedback and option sheetsObey the company Code of Ethics and the Team Rules.Live the Core Values daily as a representative of The Wilson Companies.All other duties as assigned.Pay is based on individual performanceRequirementsMinimum QualificationsAssociate degree preferred but not required2+ years' technical and trade experienceIn-depth knowledge of maintenance and repairs of plumbing systemsUnderstanding of the current regulations within the fieldExcellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical levelAble to work both independently and as part of a teamGeneral knowledge of power tools and techniques for care and safe usePlumbing troubleshooting and repairProvide an acceptable driver's abstract and maintain a valid driver's licenseStrong customer service skills*Compensation is based on individual performance*Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentClimbing up and down on ladders and equipmentAbility to lift 50 poundsAbility to pick-up a minimum of 25 pounds consistently and carry up to 250 feet unassistedOperate handheld power toolsWear personal protective equipmentAbility to work more than 40 hours per work week and up to 12 hours per dayDesired Skills and ExperienceIf you can achieve the above and you find it fun and challenging - you have just the right amount.If you want to be part of something bigger than just a job - make this career move and find exactly what you're looking for.
