In this role, you are also responsible for the completion of QA/QC process on projects. This role works closely with Senior Leaders on additional projects. Your primary responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and profitability of assigned projects, as well as, managing, the engineers and staff. This role will manage Project Managerss and below. You will also participate in business development efforts, including proposal preparation, and assist in the execution of strategic and/or sales plans for your team.Once selected to join our team, you will:Managing muti-discipline projectsEnsure the completion of QA/QC process of projectsResponsible for all project financials on all projects managed and project task givenMaintaining frequent communication with client regarding projectProposal preparationOverseeing the technical staff and managing development and performanceAssist with executing the strategic and/or sales plan for your teamOther duties as assignedKEY QUALIFICATIONS:KNOWLEDGE:Civil 3D, MicroStation, or discipline specific softwareProficient in Dunaway CAD standardsProficient in Dunaway design standardsSKILLS:In-depth technical knowledge of line of businessAbility to understand and deliver projects requirements successfullyStrong understanding of project financial and performance metricsProficient in preparing contract fee estimatesAbility to manage multi-discipline projects and multiple projects at a timeExcellent decision-making skillsAbility to recognize what your limitations areExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsEffective problem-solving skillsEffective negotiation skillsEXPERIENCE:8 total years of experienceGenerally, 6 or more years of civil design experienceExperience with designing K-12 Education buildings is a plusGenerally, 2 or more year of experience as a P.E. or 9 years of relevant civil design experience without a degree1+ years project tasks management, including financial analysis experience required0-2 years of supervisory experience0-2 years of business development experienceEDUCATION:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or 9 years of relevant civil design experience without a degree
