This position will be based out of GHD office in West Chester (Cincinnati), Ohio.In an ever changing world, it requires creativity and innovation to stay ahead.We're seeking the curious, those who are stimulated by fresh thinking and a desire to shape our communities in new, positive ways.As part of a truly global team, working on complex and rewarding projects, you'll be at the forefront of driving change.See what the power of commitment can do for you.Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:Provide technical and project management services to our existing and future clients on a variety of projectsPrepare technical evaluations and correspondence, project proposals, technical reports, work plans, and project specifications including cost estimates and budgetsData compilation, reduction, interpretation, evaluation/comparison to environmental regulatory standardsReview and coordinate consistency across various disciplines preparing drawings, calculations, and various technical evaluationsInteract with internal and external clients, contractors and service providersConduct environmental sampling and monitoring for various media and contaminants of concern by following established proceduresParticipate in a proactive safety culture of continuous improvementClient engagement approach and stewardshipComplex problem solving as it relates to environmental remediation and economic decision makingBalancing the triangle of Scope, Schedule, and Budget to produce the best results possible for our clientsDiverse professional networks spanning the globe and multitudes of disciplinesOpportunities to engage in a wide range of environmental and geographical settingsWhat you will bring to the team:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering5-10 years' experience including a mix of field, data evaluation and interpretation and technical report writingProfessional Engineering Designation/License a plusExperience preparing regulatory work plans and reports for investigation, remediation, closure and post-closure monitoring.Understanding of multimedia remedial technologies for addressing a variety of contaminants including VOCs, SVOCs, metals, and PFAS.Understanding of site infrastructure including utilities, pumping and conveyance systems, stormwater collection, and other civil works.Working knowledge of the design and operation and maintenance of remediation systems.Working knowledge of environmental containment systems including landfills, containment cells, leachate management, barrier walls, and collection/pumping systems.Experience in preparation of development of conceptual design alternatives and cost estimates.Experience in coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail in a consulting environment.Working knowledge of methods and procedures for site characterization, hydrogeologic analysis and remediation of contaminants in soil, soil vapor, indoor air and groundwater.Conduct research, collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documentsCritical thinking and problem solving - ability to identify multiple solutions to a problemExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPositive attitude, very strong interpersonal skillsEstablishing and maintaining harmonious working relationships with superiors, co-workers and clients - effective collaborators are welcomeSelf-starter and willingness to work in a team in a fast-paced environmentInterested in continuing professional developmentOSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certificationKnowledge of the Midwest market is a plus#LI-JS1EEO Statement US:As a multicultural organization, we encourage individual achievement and recognize the strength of a diverse workforce.
