We offer the best of both worlds: the resources and impact of the design giants and the tightly knit atmosphere and growth opportunities of smaller firms.What We Offer:Professional & Personal Development Programs + Summer Hours + Hybrid Schedule + Paid Architect Licensure & Certifications Exams + Wedding Pay + Charitable Match Program + Market Leading Wellness Health and Welfare Benefits.What your day could consist of:Develops, modifies and reviews drawings for the design of major events, according to established best practice standards and technical expertise in 2D and 3D formats.Develops solutions to technical and operational problems, from the master planning and concept design phases throughdetailed design.Fulfill the design and operational needs of the project manager.Verbally and graphically present design concepts.Assist in collaboratively reviewing and critiquing designs.Requirements for success:Proficiency in the following design software and applications: Revit, Rhino, SketchUp and AutoCADProficiency in Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.Sketching and illustration skills.Strong graphic skills and attention to detail.Demonstrate the ability to grasp the core requirements and objectives of complex event and public assembly projects.Excellent communication skills.Superior organizational skills: both conceptual and detail oriented, accurate and thorough.Considerable Travel is required as part of this position.Experience in sport venue design and/or event overlay design is beneficial but not required.Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and deadlines simultaneously.Demonstrated ability to effectively organize, prepare and illustrate information and ideas in a presentation format.Essential qualifications:Bachelor's degree in architecture or related design field with 2+ years of professional experience.Commitment to inclusiveness, collaboration, and integrity.Passionate, adaptable, and resilient through change.Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.Compensation:The projected salary range for this opportunity is $63,942 - $78,329 annually, and may be more or less depending on skills, experience and education.Populous offers a competitive salary, bonus and benefit packages, including medical, dental and vision coverage, 401k, flexible spending accounts, paid time off and continuing education benefits.Populous is an equal opportunity employer.
