The ideal candidate will have experience working with students, possess strong math and literacy education skills, and excel in classroom and behavior management.Applying for this role is straight forward Scroll down and click on Apply to be considered for this position.What You'll DoInstruction: Providing supplemental instruction to individual students or small groupsBehavior: Monitoring student behavior and communication, redirecting inappropriate behaviors, and administering behavior intervention programsSocial and emotional development: Helping students build social skills and foster healthy conceptsMaterials: Assisting teachers in developing and using materials to enhance learningClerical: Preparing, typing, duplicating, and filing instructional materials, maintaining student records, and sending and receiving emailsProblem-solving: Participating in the Problem-Solving Model-Response to Intervention (PSM-RtI) process to help determine intervention plans and Individualized Education Program (IEP) servicesCommunication: Attending team and parent meetings and providing input on student strengths and weaknessesWhat You'll BringA High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is requiredAn individual who is at least eighteen 18 years of age; andCan demonstrate the knowledge, have the skills needed to support the program to which they are assigned; andMeet the paraprofessional requirements as defined in IDAPA 08.02.02, Rules Governing Uniformity.Previous experience working with children in a school setting, daycare, or Montessori environment is a plus!Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organizations facilities.Ready to make an impact?Join us at Accel Therapies and start changing livesbeginning with your own.
