Position SummaryRead on to fully understand what this job requires in terms of skills and experience If you are a good match, make an application.:The Commercial Plumbing Foreman will oversee and coordinate plumbing projects from start to finish, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.This role involves managing a team of plumbers and apprentices, liaising with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial plumbing, strong leadership abilities and a deep understanding of industry codes and regulations.Pay: $30 - $55 per hourSchedule: 8-hour shift Monday - Friday with potential for overtimeLicense/Certification:Kentucky Journeyman PlumberResponsibilities:Be able to direct multiple journeymen, apprentices, and subcontractors in plumbing workCommunicate with the project manager to determine scope of workRead blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layoutOrder material for projects in a timely fashionPrepare, cut, assemble, and install plumbing material and equipment according to plans, prints, code, and safety proceduresTroubleshoot and resolve issuesPlan for needed tools and equipment with warehouse in a timely fashionProvide accurate projections and outlooks of job site status and requirementsConsult project manager with staffing needs and issuesComplete jobs on time and within budgetEstablish daily schedule and assign tasks for your projectArrange meetings with the project manager to discuss the project when neededOther duties as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.Applicable trade school training is preferred.Must be a highly qualified tradesman with at least 5 to 10 years' experience as a plumber and/or foreman/supervisor.Must have worked within the plumbing construction industry and have experience supervising 2-20 crew members.Ability to understand information, ideas and directions and then be able to direct and/or execute the tasks or project discussed.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule format.Thorough knowledge of plumbing theory, methods, practices, tools, and equipmentOrganizational skills to process required job site paperworkStrong team building and leadership skillsGood analytical skills and attention to details with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manualMust be able to access and navigate all areas of construction sitesMaster's license is a plusThe work environments are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
