Title: Desktop Support AnalystIs this the next step in your career Find out if you are the right candidate by reading through the complete overview below.Location: New York City, NY - Midtown ManhattanNote: This is a W2 contract role; C2C and 3rd party candidates will NOT be consideredThe Desktop Support Analyst is responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd level technical support for end users regarding issues with hardware and software for desktop and laptop computers, network connectivity from home and office workspaces, all types of printers, corporate email, and a multitude of software applications, including Microsoft Office products.Job Duties:Provide senior-level day-to-day support for end users in regards to their hardware and software needs and applicationsAssist end users in a timely resolution of any issues they may have regarding software and or hardware problemsDocument and record procedures for new hardware and softwareConfigure, deploy, and support Blackberrys, Windows Mobile Devices, Android devices, and iPhones for all usersWork with Configuration Management systems servers such as SCCM and AltirisMaintain Universal Computer image and Software PackagesMonitor and report on software/hardware compliance and administer software updates and patch management for desktop environmentsJob Qualifications:In-depth knowledge interacting with a variety of hardware and software platforms, including Microsoft Windows operating system, device drivers, and associated peripherals, with strong Active Directory administration experienceIn-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; ability to configure and troubleshoot email clients such as Microsoft OutlookA minimum of a Bachelor' Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related field; relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Apple, CompTIA, etc.) preferredNote: This is a W2 contract role; C2C and 3rd party candidates will NOT be considered
