As a Pharmacist, Operations Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient workflows, managing staff, maintaining compliance, and optimizing inventory and financial performance to deliver high-quality patient care. Operational Leadership & Team Management: Oversee day-to-day operations: Ensure efficient workflows, timely prescription processing, and high-quality patient care. Lead, mentor, and manager of pharmacy staff: Including pharmacists, technicians, and administrative personnel. Develop and implement policies and procedures: To improve efficiency and patient care. Schedule and allocate staff: To ensure adequate coverage and efficient operations. Evaluate pharmacy operations: Regularly identify areas for improvement. Promote a positive and productive work environment: Foster teamwork and collaboration. Regulatory Compliance & Quality: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations: Including DEA guidelines for controlled substances and HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Maintain accurate records and documentation: As required by regulatory agencies and company policies. Participate in quality improvement initiatives: To enhance pharmacy operations and patient outcomes. Stay updated on the latest developments in the pharmaceutical industry: Ensure the pharmacy remains compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements. Skills and Qualifications: Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy school. Licensure: State licensure as a pharmacist Core competencies include: Strong knowledge of pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacotherapy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing and patient counseling. Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team. Problem-solving skills to address medication-related issues. Proficiency in pharmacy software and electronic health records (EHR). Commitment to ethical standards and patient safety. Physical Requirements (with or without accommodation): Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
