The compensation will be based on experience, education, knowledge, credentials, and a consideration of the difficulty and complexity of the position. The typical hiring range for this position is: $24.50 per hour.Position SummaryThe Program Coordinator serves as the primary communicative hub between the Program Chair, Program Faculty, Senior Administrative Director, Senior Program Coordinator, current and prospective students, and University departments (such as Financial Aid, Admissions, Student Services and Registrar) and supports academic operations of the MACP program. Along with the MACP team, the Program Coordinator is part of the public face of the program, working closely with prospective students, adjunct faculty, current students, program alumni, and members of the Santa Barbara professional community.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPROGRAM ADMINISTRATIONMaintains detailed knowledge of the program, including requirements, curriculum, policies and procedures, standards, philosophy, and long-range plans and strategies, communicating accurate program information to students, faculty, prospective students, and other University offices.Addresses student and faculty email inquiries and facilitates timely notification to relevant units/leaders and responses to students.Collaborates with program administrators in the planning and coordinating New Student Orientation each quarter and other events.Attends MACP program and department meetings and follows through on all action items.Assists with departmental administrative and operational needs.Coordinates as needed room scheduling, textbook orders, room set up, classroom supplies, etc.Serves as the point of contact for newsletter submissions and develops and distributes the newsletter quarterlyPROGRAM DATA MANAGEMENTSupports the maintenance of program databases and mailing listsMaintains archives of course and faculty documents as neededAssists in compiling statistics for assessment, surveys and other purposesCollaborates on the maintenance of the program websiteAttends all technology trainings to support faculty and staff with Brightspace, Colleague, Self-Service, Google Email and Google Sites, etc.Performs other duties as assigned by the Chair and Senior Administrative Director.Antioch University reserves the right to change the duties of the job description at any time.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience; or equivalent education, experience and training.Strong organizational, time management and attention to detail skills.Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and customer service skills.Proficiency in MS Office suite and Google suite, and ability to learn and utilize new software.Supervision ReceivedMinimal supervision receivedSupervision ExercisedNo supervisory responsibilitiesHours of EmploymentThis is a full-time, 40 hours per week, position serving a national university.
