You will work with your team to ensure the plant's efficiency, safety, profitability and quality along with mentoring and leading a team of 100 employees.Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Operations ManagerOversee/manage the manufacturing staff of 100+ employees' daily responsibilitiesPrioritize production schedule based on demand forecasting, materials and supplies.Build the Operations Team to meet production, quality and cost objectives.Work with Engineering Staff to improve the production and machining processProvide guidance to direct reportsUnderstand and work in the ERP system to help determine business trendsLead safety training and compliance programJob Requirements of the Manufacturing Operations Manager This position requires a person experienced and/or ability in the following:Strong manufacturing, machining or quality experienceExcellent Interpersonal Skills, Communication Skills, Time Management Skills and Self-Motivation.Four Year College Degree or Strong Military backgroundExcellent oral and written communication skills.Professional appearance and presentation required.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, (Mechanical or Chemical preferred)5 years of leadership within manufacturing experiencePreferred automotive, aerospace, defense, hydraulics or medical/semi-conductor industryProven problem-solving skillsMilitary Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply!!Salary ranges from $85,000- $100,000
