A-Line Staffing is now hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician / PLC Technician in Orlando, FL. The Maintenance Tech would be working for a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company and has career growth potential. This is a full-time position, 40+ hours per week.Increase your chances of an interview by reading the following overview of this role before making an application.If you are interested in this Maintenance Technician position, please contact Stephanie White at 586-710-7973 or swhite@CompensationThe pay for this position is $33-$36 per hourBenefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employmentA 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility datesHighlightsThis position is a contract assignment with the potential to be hired permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needsThe required availability for this position is Sunday-Thursday, 6 PM - 2:30 AM or until work is completeResponsibilitiesEnsures effective preventative maintenance plans and schedules for all facility equipment and systemsDiagnoses Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking System-related error conditions occurring in the Distribution Center and performs repairsOversees maintenance modifications and system upgrades of Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking System controlsAssesses the efficiency of materials handling equipment and automated picking systems, defining necessary modificationsPerforms routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure continued productivity within warehouse operationsMaintains CMMS/EAM system for tracking repairs and maintenance in the Distribution CenterManages the inventory of spare partsMust be willing to work extended hours as needed to meet productivity goalsPerforms related duties as assignedRequirementsRequires technical vocational training or an equivalent combination of experience and educationAt least two years of progressively responsible experience; strong electrical background preferredStrong technical and operational knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment and systemsAbility to read and interpret CAD layouts, IPB diagrams, and electrical circuitry diagramsAbility to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issuesKnowledge of PLCs preferred, including loading programs or configuring themComputer systems experience including hardware and software installation/setupAbility to troubleshoot communication issues with devices connected to the MHE networkAbility to operate and diagnose chill water plant systemsStrong analytical skills and ability to mentor other techniciansEffective oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailHigh School Diploma or GED requiredAttendance is mandatory for the first 90 daysIf you think this Maintenance Technician position is a good fit for you, please reach out!
