Client Position: ControllerWe are currently searching for a Controller in the Wayne-County area for a privately-held manufacturer / metal fabricator. This is a client search and we are seeking a detail oriented, hands-on professional with manufacturing or distribution experience.Key Responsibilities- Accounts payableApply fast, check the full description by scrolling below to find out the full requirements for this role.- Accounts receivable- General ledger entities- Payroll- Payroll tax processing- 401(k) and Pension Plan Administrator- Banking and cash management- Bank reconciliations, monthly financial statements, and month-end close- Year-end inventory and financial statements- Special reports and data analysis as neededSkills, Knowledge and Expertise- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience) required.- Manufacturing industry experience is required.- Must have satisfactory Excel and computer skills.- Must be an analytical thinker and a problem-solver.- IT experience is a plus.
