Accentuate Staffing is seeking an experienced Loan Services Specialist to join one of our clients in Raleigh NC in a hybrid role. The Loan Services Specialist will Support customers by utilizing tools provided to deliver superior service and assistance. Respond to requests for correspondence and repayment options related to accounts being serviced by the company and assist with other activities in association with the servicing and collecting of current and delinquent student loans.Any additional information you require for this job can be found in the below text Make sure to read thoroughly, then apply. Responsibilities:Review and respond to standard letters, emails and faxes concerning accountsComplete in-house requests to provide information to borrowers, make credit corrections, review accounts for incentives or to resolve issuesReview, document, and respond to credit bureau disputes received online and in written formReview deferment and forbearance requests and approve or deny based on eligibility criteriaReview national reporting databases to backdate, extend, or end deferment periods based on the information received, as well as adjust graduation/separation dates for enrolled borrowersReview and process adjustments to support initial disclosure and repayment plan optionsProvide routine servicing to borrowers as assigned by CFI management staff:Collect past due payments through incoming calls or outgoing calls that are made using the auto-dialing system or dialed manuallyAnswer questions related to appropriate loan program, identify appropriate borrower options, and perform related follow up activities to ensure good customer servicePerform assigned skip trace activities to locate the borrower, including using tools in a secure and appropriate mannerProcess returned mail in a manner that meets requirementsComplete reports in a timely mannerPerform front desk duties as neededIdentify potential and/or denied claimsRegular attendance and timeliness are essentialAssist management as needed and perform other duties as assignedWork an alternate schedule, such as evening hours, if requestedRequirements:High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or equivalent and 3+ years related experienceAssociate's Degree from an accredited institution and 2+ years related experience preferredPrevious experience in related duties and composing written correspondence with minimal supervision.Some customer service or collection experience preferred.Excellent oral and written communication skillsGood customer service philosophy and attitudeAbility to meet and manage customer expectations in a professional and timely manner and maintain composure and avoid aggressive behavior in very difficult situationsAbility to develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationshipsMathematic skills with the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest and percentagesAbility to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problemsFamiliarity with MS Office
