JOB SUMMARY: The Product Development Specialist must have the ability to effectively listen and respond to customers to include DoD Program Managers and Directors of Maintenance. Provide technical insight to the development team. Assist with application design and system integration. Quickly become knowledgeable of the product, write technical papers/publications/presentations for customer consumption. Work with Contract Administration for DoD related products to ensure deliverables are properly processed. Create system maintenance plans for in-house and customers. Conduct initial training for customers and in-house support team. This includes initial testing for specific component balancing functionality. Modal and Vibration testing to ensure system survivability. 15%Work with software developers to ensure customer expectations are meet.10%Write technical papers/publications and develop presentations to meet customer requirements.5%Assist Business Development with technical knowledge on new business pursuits. Ability to rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionalsMust exhibit a high degree of professionalismKnowledge and experience with technical drawings and wiring diagramsKnowledge of balancing, vibrations and performance.Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint requiredKnowledge of system integration and application design.Basic understanding of government contractingExperience with SAP Business One preferredEDUCATION/TRAINING/LICENSESMinimum 5 years hands-on or working experience related to product development and system integration.Technical Degree preferredMust have a valid driver's licenseFAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate preferredPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENTWorks predominately at office desk: carrying out both manual and repetitive arm hand and finger movements regarding computerized data entry and data processing tasks.Job requires verbal contact with and listening to internal and external stakeholders in both a one-on-one and group setting.
