As an Sr. Tool & Die Maker you will:Responsible for creating highly precise tools and dies (metal shaping and cutting devices) used in manufacturing process for the company Plan, organize, and design tools to meet exact specifications to fit within tight tolerances. Fabricates and assembles jigs, fixtures, and parts with precision using raw materials and tools.Reads blueprints and instructions to plan layouts and operations.Operates various metalworking machines, tools, and precision measuring devices.Constructs, repairs, and reworks tools, gauges, and fixtures.Installs bushings and ensures all work meets required specifications.Identifies and marks reference points for fabricating tasks.Train and mentor other employee's ensuring that proper protocol is being followedCommunicates with engineers and team members on projects.Follows company policies, works safely, and demonstrates commitment to goals and procedures.Participates in special projects and ensures work standards are met efficiently.Maintains a clean and organized workspace, handling tools and equipment properly.This is a Full-Time Temp-To-Hire opportunity The ideal candidates will have:High School Diploma, GED, or equivalentMinimum of 10 years of industry experience and minimum of 5 years of machine tool & die is preferred Solid mathematics skills Ability to read basic blueprints, drawings, or templatesAbility to read and write in English to comply with written instructions and complete documentation paperworkAbility to use basic hand tools and industrial equipment such as drill press, mills, and lathesFamiliarity with operating pallet jacks, electronic lifts, forklifts, and cranes Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:30am-3pm Pay: $34-40 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
