For the expansion of our Business Information Systems (BIS) team, argenx is looking for an Associate Director level Portfolio and Program Manager.This role will report to the Global Commercial, Medical Affairs and GPS BIS Lead and will partner with various business partner functions in BIS to deliver strategic projects, establish project governance and strategy, and actively manage the portfolio of projects. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Establishes the global Commercial and Medical Affairs Portfolio Management process, which includes demand management, prioritization, resource allocation, budget management and reporting.Coordinates with the team of global Business Partners and Project Managers to create and manage the portfolio for all projects in their individual life cyclePublishes and communicates the portfolio in a consistent fashion across regions and functionsManage, the assessment, measurement and reporting of portfolio risk to ensure effective deliveryDefine and analyze metrics on project and portfolio performance, generate and delivery timely reporting to stakeholdersPartners with Finance, Procurement and other functions to ensure the portfolio adheres to argenx standardsLeads the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) budgeting processes and manages financial health of the portfolio through monthly review of financialsSupport operations of the Commercial & Medical Affairs BIS teamManages one or more strategic projects in a Project Manager capacityEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:10+ years of project and program management experience with increasing complexity, including managing multi-geographic division or enterprise-wide projects, mainly in medical device/biotechnology industries5+ years of experience working with technical applications and/or information systems, or equivalent, including managing information technology projects, or equivalentProficient and experienced in Agile Project Management MethodologyExperience working on project and portfolio management toolsHands-on experience in project/portfolio resource planning, reporting, prioritization, and budgetingExperience leading projects and programs within and outside IT, as well as projects and programs that involved external providers#LI-HybridAt argenx, all applicants are welcomed in an inclusive environment.
