Alterity Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of NFP Corp.Summary: This is a full-time position that requires the junior consultant to regularly collaborate with and provide support for clients and team members to meet clients' and organizational needs. This team member will be responsible for a wide spectrum of duties including, but not limited to, drafting and review of ongoing client deliverables, data collection and analytics, carrier and client interfacing for data collection, issue resolution and general project management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Respond quickly and accurately to client and carrier questions and work to resolve any issue or problem as quickly as possible, bringing in senior staff as requiredManage, track, and communicate project status internally and externally ensuring that projects are meeting deadlines and client teams are aware of issues impacting successful executionReview client financial data and draft financial reports/project costs with oversight by senior team membersParticipate in client calls/meetings, including taking notes and ensuring follow-up, as requiredCollaborate with all team members and across the organization on projects as neededBuild and maintain solid working relationships with clients, insurance carriers/vendors and co-workersAssist with the drafting, management, review, and analysis of RFPsConduct benchmarking analyses and create client-ready reports for review by senior staffDraft client-ready emails, memos, and presentations for review by senior staffAssist with all aspects of client meeting preparation and attend meetings, as requiredCoordinate new carrier business, including reviewing paperwork for accuracy and managing towards critical milestonesAssist with Stop-loss Center of ExcellenceAdditional duties, as assignedSkills and/or Abilities Expectations Strong technical and financial acumen with ability to analyze and interpret dataStrong writing skills with ability to correspond and present in a clear, concise, and persuasive mannerAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and with colleagues of all levelsAbility to prioritize multiple projects at once and to thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environmentDetail oriented with ability to self-review own work for accuracy and that of othersService-oriented mentality with ability to uphold firm's reputation for responsivenessAbility to use feedback to develop skill setsExcellent organizational skillsCritical thinking skillsSelf-starterStrong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skillsAbility to travelEducation and/or Experience: Four-year College or University DegreeUp to 2 years of work or industry experience preferred but not requiredCertificates, Licenses, Registration: Life, Accident and Health License required; must be obtained within 90 days of employmentWhat We OfferWe're proud to offer a competitive salary, PTO & paid holidays, 401(k) with match, exclusive discount programs, health & wellness programs, and more. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
