BILINGUAL (SPANISH ENGLISH) TECHNOLOGY TRAINER FOR OLDER ADULTS - SAN ANTONIO, TXScroll down to find the complete details of the job offer, including experience required and associated duties and tasks.Our client, a major non-profit association that helps older adults use technology, is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish English) Technology Trainer for an 18-month part-time (25 hours per week) contract position in San Antonio, TX. This part-time position is a unique opportunity for a passionate individual to empower older adults by helping them thrive in the digital world and harness technology to achieve their personal goals. Trainers teach the organization's curriculum using books and online resources specifically designed for older adults. Trainer schedules will vary each quarter. Trainers guide participants in sending emails, exploring their interests online, connecting with family and friends on social media, banking online, starting small businesses, and much more. Schedule:You will need to be available between 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. Local travel required.Responsibilities:• Teach technology courses in-person using the organization's curriculum and approach.• Represent and promote the organization's culture and opportunities to course participants.• Engage in regular communication with staff, including feedback on site issues, curriculum, etc.• Coordinate with site staff, including site visits, graduations, etc.• Collect surveys and evaluations.• Enter data into Salesforce database.• Participate in trainer meetings and other training events.• Recruit participants, as needed.• Participate in special projects, as needed (ex. outreach, curriculum, etc.Qualifications:• Minimum of 1 year experience in a professional work setting• Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.• Ability to communicate technical information clearly in English and Spanish.• Classroom teaching experience is strongly preferred.• Proficiency with Windows computers, iOS, popular social media sites, and other common technologies/devices.
