Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing the flow of all products in and out of the facility to include Inbound shipments receipts, customer shipments, and maintaining control of all inventories on-site. Supervises hourly employees in support of storage and shipping functions and outlying functions of quality inspections, equipment/facility maintenance, and warehouse sanitation.If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.Responsibilities, Opportunities and Challenges:· Directly supervise, coach, and mentor a team.· Manage employees in safe and efficient finished product warehousing, and all inbound and outbound shipments· Ensure all inventories on hand are handled properly.· Maintain dock and storage facilities in an organized manner· Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures, and safety standardsEducation and Experience:·Minimum of 5 years of production/warehouse management experience in a fast-paced transportation environment·Superb people skills in mentoring, coaching/counseling, motivation, performance management, and employee relations·Continuous improvement mindset, short-term and long-term· Exceptional analytical, root-cause-analysis, and decision-making abilities· Effective written and verbal communication abilities including presentation skills with recommendations and data· Ability to drive continuous improvement, provide accurate reporting, and utilize dataThis is a 2nd shift position and requires ability to work varying start times and weekends dependent on business needs.Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000 + depending on experienceBenefits:• 401(k)• Dental Insurance• Disability Insurance• Flexible Spending Account• Health Insurance• Life Insurance• Paid Time Off
