Calling All Maintenance Mechanics! - Apply TodayIf the following job requirements and experience match your skills, please ensure you apply promptly.Volt is immediately hiring for Maintenance Mechanics in Commerce, CA.This is a Full-Time/Direct Hire opportunity with competitave benefits.Shift: Start time: 9AM (40 hour work week)Rate: Starting at $32-40 per hour (Depending on experience)*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Summary:Join our central kitchen maintenance team! We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to keep our production running smoothly. You'll troubleshoot electrical/motor controls, perform TIG welding, and handle diverse mechanical and plumbing tasks on our automated lines. Experience in the food industry is a plus. Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including motor controls, relays, AC/DC motors, and VFDs.Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components.Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including conveyors, dough lines, pastry lines, pumps, and packaging equipment.Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, including changing out removable plastic belting.Handle basic plumbing tasks, including installing and connecting plumbing for production equipment and braising copper pipes.Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.Qualifications:3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in manufacturing industry (Food Industry / GMP knowledge or similar industries like pharmaceuticals preferred).Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, specifically with motor controls, relays, and AC/DC motors.TIG welding experience with stainless steel is highly preferred.Solid mechanical aptitude and experience with preventive maintenance.Basic plumbing skillsVolt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
