INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYSTAre you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.Seeking an Information Security Analyst, who under general direction of the Risk Officer, will assist in planning, implementing, upgrading, and monitoring security measures to protect computer networks and sensitive information. The Information Security Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cybersecurity, a strong technical foundation, and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH) are a plus.2-4 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity roles.Familiarity with network security tools, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.Understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and basic scripting is a plus.Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and threat landscapes.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment. Good verbal and written communication skills.Some knowledge of information security tools such as Nessus, Tripwire, QRadar etc... is a Plus. Experience in Financial Services or Banking is a Plus.
