Keymark Corporation of Florida, an aluminum extrusion manufacturing plant, is actively interviewing applicants for the Purchaserat the Lakeland manufacturing plant to support the Maintenance Department. You will track orders and update management on expected arrival times and be the liason between the company and vendors.Primary duties:Process orders using computer-based order management tools Utilize supply chain knowledge to manage parts inventory effectivelyOversee supplier relationships and ensure timely sourcing of required partsAbility to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions in written and oral formAssists Receiving Coordinator with completed packing slips and delivery ticketsPrepare purchasing reports as requested by managementDevelop a relationship with Purchasing Dept. in NY to understand proper purchasing processesAssist with the organization of parts and equipment technical publicationsAssist with other other administrative dutiesParticipate in the planning of projects and be the responsible party to make sure project packets, approvals are secured and completed correctlyKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities for this position include: Maintain attention to detail and follow throughExcellent organizational and planning skillsStrong problem-solving skills requiredMust be able to work independentlyProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)2 years of experience conducting purchasing and inventoryWorking Conditions:The work environment characteristics are representative of those while performing the essential functions of the job.
