Job DescriptionTitle: Sr. Quality Manager - Key AccountsPioneer the next generation of innovation. Join us and you'll develop your skills and expertise to the very highest levels, working in an international environment for a company known the world over for its brilliance.Position Summary:This position has global responsibility for holding the business relationship with the customer(s) regarding Quality topics. This position will coordinate activities for the business to understand and fulfill customer quality requirements, ensure that the business resolves customer quality problems satisfactorily, track Quality KPI's and drive improvement initiatives to ensure that customer expectations are met.Key Accountabilities:Enhance and maintain the business relationship to the customer with regards to Quality topics. Review quality-relevant customer contracts as needed, identify customer quality requirements and determine level of compliance. Ensure that respective teams are aware of quality-related customer requirements and work with them to ensure that they are setup to fulfil contracted customer quality requirements.Coordinate with respective teams to solve customer Quality problems. Escalate topics within the organization as needed to ensure that topics are routed appropriately for successful outcomes.Track customer Quality KPIs. Reporting these into the organization using local reports that easily identify where points have been lost and where improvement is needed.Drive improvement topics for achieving and exceeding customer expectations and customer KPIs.Support and cooperation with customer complaints. Includes supporting Quality Managers with their topics as needed and escalating topics as needed.Visit customers, attend customer meetings, ensure that relevant Quality information flows between the customer and local teams as needed.Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct.Perform special projects as requiredBasic Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Quality Management, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering plus 5 years quality manufacturing experience with large industrial equipment or 9 years Quality management experience with large industrial equipment.To be considered for this position, you must be a US Citizen or Permanent ResidentPreferred Qualifications:Excellent customer serviceExcellent data analytics and understanding of KPIs.Excellent knowledge of Project Management principles, including product launches in an engineering/manufacturing environment.Excellent knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the production of large industrial equipment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organizationStrong problem-solving skillsSelf-starter possessing strong initiative and teamworkProficient with PC and MS Office SuiteFamiiliar with large manufacturing plant operations and equipmentKnowledge of MTU components and productsKnowledge of genset performance requirementsRolls-Royce is a Military Friendly Employer.
