Qualifications Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.BLS and ACLS certification are required.Certification from the ARRT as an RT(R)(CV), RT(R)(CI) or RT(R)(VI) and licensure by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist OR Certification from the CIC for RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) is required.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT FOR THIS LEVEL:Recent applicable clinical experience in a comparable setting.Maintenance of 20 contact hours of education every year.Member of a professional organization.
