Ametek, Inc.Find out more about the daily tasks, overall responsibilities, and required experience for this opportunity by scrolling down now.Job description: The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for sales of MOCON Permeation and Package Testing products and services for the US North East territory and for the development and implementation of sales strategy to achieve sales target and win in a competitive market. This position requires customer interactions that include maintaining relationships with direct quotes to direct end users, while growing and driving partnerships with new accounts. Within this role, the Regional Sales Manager will be the main sales driver for the Permeation and Package Testing product lines in the territory and work closely with Product Management, Inside Sales, and Marketing Communications to hit budgeted targets and ensure customer satisfactionManagement Responsibility: Playing a key role in the sales growth of the company by achieving the assigned revenue target for the regionReview yearly sales plan and update the current quarter's plan Forecasting of orders and revenue by month, quarter, and yearObserving the defects in the sales strategies of the product line and making/recommending improvementsParticipate in company's sales meetings and various conferences/seminarsWork with Product Management to stay current on competition/technology and sharing regional insightsTerritory Responsibility: Territory consists of US North East territoryManaging territory utilizing CRM and sales enablement toolsManaging the pipeline broken out by states and product groups and segmentsWorks with customers for forecasting and purchase order gainingObtain new orders through effective use of in-person and virtual meetingsMaintains good relationship with customers and become a resource for themManages customer commitments and obligations, knows how to close sales negotiationsUnderstand different sales process techniques, or different selling systems, to obtain sales goalsPosition is remote based within USA specified Territory, preferably Pittsburgh or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania or other North East location close to a major airport. Standard business operation hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Also, this position may require additional hours of work as requested by business needs.
