Job Title:Certified Medical AssistantAll the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.Job Summary:This full-time position is located in the Employee Health and Wellness Center at Ann's Choice by Erickson Senior Living. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will provide clinical and administrative support to the employee health clinician and perform delegated medical assistant tasks under supervision.Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate schedules for employee visits and recordsPerform front desk receptionist duties, including data entry, customer service, filing, and phone answeringEnsure accuracy of registration, insurance verification, and codingPrepare employees for examination by recording vital signs and preparing patientsPerform blood draws, tests, vaccinations, and EKGs under direction of supervising clinicianPrepare reports on utilization, co-pay, time in clinic, and satisfaction summariesEnsure lab compliance and record required dataRequirements:Knowledge of HIPAAMicrosoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)Completion of accredited Medical Assistant Program and valid certificationCPR certification requiredCurrent MA Certification requiredPhlebotomy certificate preferredAnn's Choice is a beautiful 103-acre continuing care retirement community in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
