Echo Technologist

**Job Summary**Is your CV ready If so, and you are confident this is the role for you, make sure to apply asap.We are seeking a highly skilled Echo Technologist to join our team on a local contract basis in Flushing, New York.The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in echocardiogram procedures and equipment, with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tech I. They must also have basic clerical skills and be able to identify problems with equipment, resolving or reporting them as necessary.The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, completing a 13-week assignment. We require the completion of an approved Echocardiogram Training Program (R) and relevant certifications, such as ARMS (Echo) Certification.Key Responsibilities:Perform high-quality echocardiogram procedures using various types of equipmentIdentify potential issues with equipment and take corrective action or notify clinical staff as neededRecognize patient problems that require clinical assistance from a physician or nurseMaintain accurate records and documentation of procedures and results**Requirements:**High School diploma or equivalent required; Echocardiogram Training Program (R) completion mandatoryMinimum 2 years' experience as a Tech I; preferably in pediatric echocardiographyRelevant certifications, such as ARMS (Echo) Certification**Working Conditions:**This is a local contract position, working 35 hours per week in an 8-hour day shift. The ideal candidate will be based in Flushing, New York, and will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality patient care.
