Job SummaryRead on to fully understand what this job requires in terms of skills and experience If you are a good match, make an application.We are seeking an Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and develop innovative menu programs that showcase from-scratch cooking and chef-inspired creations. This role requires a strong hospitality experience, proven track record of success, and ability to drive business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure efficient and high-quality food purchasing, receiving, storage, preparation, sanitation, and direct supervision of food production staff within budgetary parameters.Supervise, implement, and maintain core menus, recipe management system, and BOH computer system.Maintain kitchen/equipment sanitation and perform monthly internal sanitation audits.Comply with federal and state regulations pertaining to food handling/production.Partner with Unit Manager to resolve issues related to food production, preparation, and presentation.Develop and maintain relationships with residents through dining room visits and meetings.RequirementsMinimum 3 years Executive Chef experience.Fine dining experience a plus.Knowledge of ala carte and catering trends, focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and food presentation.Good knowledge of PC software and POS systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).About UsWe are part of Erickson Senior Living, a national network of communities managed by one of the country's largest and most respected providers of senior living and health care.
