Software Developer/ DevOps Engineer

Job Description: Global Infotech Inc, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to automate, streamline, and enhance our software development and deployment processes.Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.Location: Schaumburg IL, and Unanticipated Client Locations.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application builds, tests, and deploymentsBuild, deploy, and manage containerized applications.Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, Shell, or PowerShell for automation tasks.Expertise in relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB.Automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.Ensure proper log aggregation, tracking, and alerting for applications and infrastructure.Very Good understanding of Linux/Unix-based systems and command-line tools.Support the management and optimization of cloud environments using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Assist in the deployment and orchestration of containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or AKS).Collaborate with development teams, QA engineers, and system administrators to improve development and deployment workflows.Support the implementation of code versioning practices for infrastructure configurations and application deployments.Continuously monitor the health of applications and infrastructure to proactively identify issues.Monitor system performance, identify and resolve issues, and ensure high availability.Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, application failures, and performance bottlenecks.Qualification: Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field with Industry experience.
