Volt is immediately hiring for a Human Resource Generalist in West Springfield, MA.The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role. As a HR Generalist you will:Employee Relations & Management Support:Serving as an HR relationship manager, fostering positive manager/employee relationships.Providing guidance on performance management, conduct issues, and disciplinary actions.Conducting employee counseling and exit interviews.Advising management on employee relations issues.Recruitment & Onboarding:Managing the full-cycle recruitment process for production and entry-level office positions.Coordinating new employee orientation and onboarding.Creating and maintaining job descriptions.Training & Development:Developing and delivering training programs (e.g., interviewing, safety, harassment).Maintaining training records.Recommending and planning training programs.Compliance & Policy:Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and government regulations.Developing, updating, and communicating company policies.Assisting with investigations (harassment, discrimination).Benefits Administration:Administering benefit programs, including open enrollment.Maintaining accurate HR records.Safety & Reporting:Participating in safety committee and supporting safety initiatives.Providing management reports as required.Organizational Development:Acting as a consultant and coach for managers on organizational structures, development, and change.General HR Duties:Performing other related duties as assigned.This is a full time, direct hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have:2-3 years of HR experience (including 1+ year in recruitment) or a Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience.Bachelor's degree in a related field; HR certification or specialized training preferred.Current knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.Strong written and verbal communication skills (Spanish bilingual a plus).Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and interpret regulations.Excellent planning, time management, and prioritization skills.Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of the organization.HR Perspective within a Manufacturing environment a plus.Salary: $70,000 - $90,000/year *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Benefits: Since this is a Direct Hire role, benefits will be provided by the employer.
