Job Description: We are looking for a Finance and Accounting Coordinator who has demonstrated an understanding of our mission, commitment to excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices, and ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders, along with the following competencies and experience. Required Skills:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; or instead of degree possesses equivalent experienceMinimum of 5 years relevant experience in an accounting/bookkeeping environmentExperience with Quickbooks, Divvy/BILLExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to multitaskAbility to operate in a dynamic and changing environmentStrong computer skills Responsibilities: Account reconciliationsChart of accounts maintenance and expense categorization to appropriate GL account in QuickbooksMonth-end close including journal entry preparation, including accruals, prepaid, fixed asset capitalization and depreciation, inventory capitalization, and reporting - balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow flux analysesAP - enter bills into AP software (BILL) and release paymentsAR/order to cash- prepare and bill order forms/invoices, monitor orders, credit holds, and order releases, manage credit risks, perform cash application to customer accounts, collection and monitoring of outstanding AR/invoicesCash - maintain and review relevant bank accountsPayroll -record payroll-related journal entriesSales and Use and Property Tax - monitor and pay state sales and use taxes and property taxesAdministrative issuance of customer certificates - for successful demonstration of sampling competency and completion of training modulesGeneral administrative and clerical tasks such as data entry, document management, record keeping, answering phone calls to main phone numbers, and responding to emails.Enter data and information into CRM software (customer inquiries and initial responses)
