Volt is immediately hiring for a Post Solder Assembler in Gardena, California. As a Post Solder Assembler, you will:Perform soldering operations on printed circuit boards, through-hole and SMT components, and wire harness assemblies.Work with fluxes, solder wires, and cleaning solvents in both lead and lead-free processes.Follow IPC 610 Class 3 Standards for soldering SMT devices and PCB assembly.Solder, route, and attach jumpers to PCB components using adhesives.Read and interpret datasheets, blueprints, ECNs, and assembly instructions.Use microscopes for soldering SMT devices and perform hot air rework.Maintain production standards and ensure quality in post-solder inspection.This is a full-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have:A minimum of 5 years of experience in soldering within an electronics manufacturing environment.Experience working in an ISO 9001 or AS9100-certified facility.Proficiency with IPC 610 and J-STD-001 processes.The ability to read and interpret customer datasheets, schematics, and blueprints.Experience using microscopes, hot air rework stations, and manual/electrical tools.Ability to assemble and/or rework PCBAs, test boxes and test racks.Experience and/or certified to J-STD-001 and NASA.STD.8739.4Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift (8:00?am - 5:00?pm) Pay Rate: 18.00 - 21.00 per hour. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
