Field Service Technician - Pharmaceutical Equipment

A leading manufacturer of automated pharmaceutical machinery is looking for a Field Service Technician in the Arlington Heights, IL area to maintain their products. Ideal candidates will gain vital experience with industrial-grade automated machinery on customer sites. Due to the high level of travel involved in the role, a driver's license with good driving record is required. Field Service Technician Responsibilities:Travel regionally to customer locations to provide installations/repairs to automated machinery in service circulation in commercial and industrial settingsTrain customer personnel on function and upkeep of equipmentOccasionally aid Field Service department in other regions, if neededPerform support duties in-office when not travelingBe on call for emergency maintenance needsOther duties as assignedField Service Technician Qualifications:At least two years of prior field service experienceStrong knowledge of mechanical and electrical components maintenanceWillingness to travel up to 80% during the week, including overnightsStrong customer service skillsAbility to develop and maintain strong working relationships internally and externallyValid Driver's License with strong driving recordAbility to work in multicultural environmentsThis position includes work in a manufacturing and warehousing environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
