This leadership position will oversee all operational aspects of our manufacturing processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives. If you have a strong background in precision machining processes, leadership experience, and a passion for driving operational excellence, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:5S Implementation & Maintenance: Lead and maintain 5S standards to promote a clean, organized, and efficient working environment.Policy & Program Development: Formulate and implement manufacturing policies, procedures, and programs to improve productivity, safety, and overall performance.Precision Machining Knowledge: Utilize your expertise in precision machining processes, including mills, lathes, and CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) machines, to optimize operations and ensure quality production.Operational Oversight: Oversee all operational aspects within the assigned areas of responsibility, ensuring smooth operations related to safety, quality, delivery, service, production, and cost control.Cost Reduction Initiatives: Lead and implement cost-reduction programs, focusing on resource optimization, waste reduction, and increasing production efficiency.New Product Introductions (NPI): Manage the introduction of new products into the manufacturing process, ensuring timelines, quality, and cost objectives are met.Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement across all operations and implement best practices.Personnel Management: Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team, ensuring efficient workflow and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.Special Projects: Take the lead on special projects, providing direction and support to achieve operational goals.Required Qualifications:A minimum of 8 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.Extensive knowledge of precision machining processes, including but not limited to mills, lathes, and CNC machines.Proven track record of formulating and implementing manufacturing policies and programs that drive operational improvements.Strong 5S implementation and continuous improvement experience.Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex teams while ensuring high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.Previous experience with ERP systems and production scheduling tools.Benefits:Competitive salary and bonus structure.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.Paid time off (PTO) and holidays.Company Paid Life Insurance - The Standard Insurance CompanyGroup Additional Life and AD&D Insurance-The StandardGroup Short and Long Term Disability Insurance- The Standard401 (k) w/ match - Aon (VOYA) (90 Days after full-time hire)Paid Time Off (PTO)10 Company Paid HolidaysComplimentary breakfast and lunch every day for all employeesIf you are a results-driven leader with a strong background in manufacturing operations and a commitment to continuous improvement, we encourage you to apply!To Apply: Please submit your resume and cover letter outlining your relevant experience to jcoppola@The Bachrach Group is an equal-opportunity employer.
