Job Description:Is your CV ready If so, and you are confident this is the role for you, make sure to apply asap.We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. This leadership role will be responsible for managing critical aspects of our operations, including mechanical property testing, dimensional inspection, and maintaining quality systems to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of quality assurance processes, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and product quality.Key Responsibilities:Mechanical Property Testing & Dimensional Inspection: Supervise and manage resources involved in mechanical property testing (Hardness & Fatigue Strength) and dimensional inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.Gage Control & Calibration System: Oversee the Gage Control and Calibration system, ensuring accuracy and reliability of measurement tools. Determine which calibration services will be handled externally.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to reduce internal scrap, minimize rework, and address customer feedback. Act on these opportunities and track/report the results of these initiatives to senior management.Supplier Quality Assurance: Work closely with external suppliers to ensure parts meet purchase agreements and adhere to established quality standards.Quality Management Systems (QMS): Ensure the creation and maintenance of quality management system requirements to meet ISO 9001:2015 certification.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Requirements:5+ years of experience in a Quality Leadership role within a manufacturing environment.Expertise with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) and other non-contact vision inspection systems.Proven experience in creating and maintaining Quality Management Systems to meet ISO 9001:2015 certification requirements.Strong background in mechanical property testing (including hardness and fatigue strength) and dimensional inspection.Knowledge of Gage Control & Calibration systems and experience in managing external calibration services.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to drive improvements and achieve measurable results.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.Benefits:Medical - IBCDental - The Standard Insurance CompanyVision - IBC (included in medical premium)Company Paid Life Insurance - The Standard Insurance CompanyGroup Additional Life and AD&D Insurance - The StandardGroup Short and Long Term Disability Insurance - The Standard401(k) with match - Aon (VOYA) (eligible after 90 days of full-time employment)Paid Time Off (PTO)10 Company Paid HolidaysComplimentary breakfast and lunch every day for all employeesHow to Apply:To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter to jcoppola@ We look forward to reviewing your application and discussing how you can contribute to our team!Note: The above description is intended to provide a general overview of the responsibilities and qualifications for the position.
