Title: Sr. Client Data Analyst (Financial Services)For a complete understanding of this opportunity, and what will be required to be a successful applicant, read on.Location Options: Newark DE (hybrid on-site)Duration: 6+ months Compensation: $68-71/hr. Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.This position will serve as a Subject Matter Expert to validate data, challenge the state of data quality, and continuously drive improvements through better and higher definition data analysis. The Data Governance team's goal is the continuous measurement of data quality, quickening the pace of anomaly detection, and driving data quality improvements at the source resulting in faster cycle times for data remediation.What you will do: Create pipelines and processes to import large, complex data sets into a cloud (snowflake) environment Develop algorithms to transform, compare, and analyze data into useful, actionable insights Identify, design, and implement process improvements for a faster repeatable reporting process Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality Develop checks for staging and loading data Assist with data-related technical issues Acquire data from various sources and reload updated data into the databases Participate in central data cleansing activities to accelerate data quality remediation Participate in data quality improvement initiatives and projects. Attend meetings with various data governance groups and Subject Matter Experts ("SME") from the bank and Enterprise Risk Management ("ERM")What you need: Skilled in communicating on complex topics and solutions and must be open to ideas from others Ability to build and optimize data sets, "˜big data' data pipelines and architectures Well-versed in SQL and Snowflake environments. Able to create repeatable data load and ETL processes using Python scripts Perform root cause analysis on processes and data Excellent analytic skills working on unstructured datasets Ability to build processes that support data transformation, workload management, data structures, dependency & metadata Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Must have a working knowledge of bank processes and controls Experience working in a formal risk controls environment with a strong understanding of scheduled deliverables Well-versed in a collaborative/ team-focused environment directly communicating with Managers and peers daily Must have Experience with programming technology and tooling such as SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, and/or Alteryx A background in Business Objects would be nice to have Emphasis in creating dashboards and data mining experience preferred Ability to understand the business context and regulatory requirements to define data quality functional requirements and standards >>> Qualified candidates please apply to this posting for further review.
