American Express National Bank seeks Directors, Risk Management to maintain overall responsibility for new decisions relating to credit and fraud risk for the Company's businesses. Drive Core Underwriting risk strategies to determine financial decisions for prospects and customer applications leveraging core risk infrastructure. Partner with marketing partners and targeting teams to harmonize underwriting and targeting. Review new accounts credit trends and direct analyses to inform risk management and business strategies. Ensure control, compliance, and operational risk mitigation in all processes and design for a streamlined user experience across customer touch points. Drive analytics and partner with the Decision Science team to enhance economic logic and support core risk management decisions. Learn more about the general tasks related to this opportunity below, as well as required skills.Position requires a Master's degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Operations Research, Business Administration, or a related field, and 2 years of experience with risk management and risk analysis. Experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following: Credit risk data from credit bureaus and internal credit source, source systems, and data management processes; providing strategic guidance on risk information system implementation and enhancements, new data evaluation, and regulatory audit strategies; linear regression and logistic regression; data analysis, text mining, and transforming credit and risk capabilities using R; and Base SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, SQL, and VBA.
