JOB TITLE: Financial AnalystFind out exactly what skills, experience, and qualifications you will need to succeed in this role before applying below.JOB LOCATION: Princeton NJ (3 days on site)WAGE RANGE*: $28-35/hr. w2JOB NUMBER: 1105REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:Large company payroll experienceLarge Payroll software experience (Ultipro/UKG, ADP, etc - not quickbooks)Self Starter - Analytical thinkerStrong overall payroll knowledge (gross to net, taxation)Excel skills (ie vlookup, sumif, pivot tables, etc)W-2 preparation / validationMulti-state/local tax jurisdiction experienceGeneral ledger backgroundJOB DESCRIPTION:5+ years payroll experienceUKG/Ultipro experience is a plus but not requiredStrong accounting knowledge; Reconciliations, Journal EntriesSolid understanding of payroll and payroll tax lawsStrong analytical skills; Solve unique, complex problems; Make basic decisions, escalating items where applicableCommunicate clearly and effectivelyStrong knowledge of MS Office, including ExcelDetail orientated, organized, accountable for accuracy and meeting deadlinesMust be a team player to blend individual tasks / processes to achieve group objectivesExperience with multi-state and Canadian payroll complianceExperience with state and local tax registration and reconciliation Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Develop full understanding of the inputs and outputs of payroll cyclesMaintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, analyzing and entering data utilizing the UKG Pro payroll system in accordance with policy and procedures401k Reconciliation / FundingEquity VestingRelocation ProcessingEffectively manage entire General Ledger processing, reconciliation and SAP interfaceReporting to Finance / AccountingAudit / SOX ComplianceMonthly, Quarterly and Annual ReportingMaintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures and have knowledge of what data and calculations are required in assigned areasEnsure complete, accurate and timely processing of informationCollaborate with payroll colleagues as well as other business areas, including Human Resources, Benefits, Compensation, Finance and Technology.Year End W-2 processingBalance sheet account reconciliation supportProvide analysis and reporting as required and assigned by managementProvide customer service by responding to employee questions and requestsEqual Opportunity Employer, including Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities:* While an hourly range is posted for this position, an eventual hourly rate is determined by a comprehensive salary analysis which considers multiple factors including but not limited to: job-related knowledge, skills and qualifications, education and experience as compared to others in the organization doing substantially similar work, if applicable, and market and business considerations.
