Associate, Investing & Portfolio Management - Public with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Digest the output of an asset liability study and prepare client ready materials explaining the results. Perform portfolio construction utilizing proprietary optimizations systems. Requires: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Business, or related quantitative field. Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience with: performing portfolio construction and analysis for multi-asset institutional portfolios; constructing liability hedging portfolios; utilizing Excel to produce bespoke portfolio analytics including expected returns, risk, surplus volatility, asset liability DV01s, discounted cash flows and projected institutional balance sheets; presenting portfolio recommendations to internal and external stakeholders using both Word and PowerPoint; evaluating portfolio and investment management related performance including public and private asset classes as well as multiple investment vehicle implementations; working independently and managing numerous projects (10+ clients simultaneously); working with $5billion+ US and Canadian pensions; understanding of portfolio investment metrics; completing error-free portfolio analysis in Excel or other relevant investment tools; and communicating investment results to clients and other portfolio managers.
