The DC Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within the distribution center (DC). This role ensures that all equipment, machinery, and facilities are maintained to the highest standards to support efficient and safe operations. The DC Maintenance Manager will lead a team of maintenance technicians, coordinate with other departments, and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. Supervise and provide direct oversight to all maintenance mechanics and non-exempt maintenance employees.Manage and schedule preventive maintenance programs to ensure maximum equipment uptime.Troubleshoot and maintain robotics, conveyor systems, and sortation equipment to ensure smooth operations.Assign and oversee advanced maintenance tasks while providing technical support in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.Collaborate with DC management to address operations and maintenance concerns.Identify and implement improvements in material handling systems to enhance efficiency and productivity.Oversee inventory management for spare parts and maintenance supplies.Coordinate and evaluate contractor bids for facility repairs and projects, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and scheduling standards.Promote and enforce safety policies to maintain a secure work environment.Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective/preventative measures. Benchmark facility performance and identify areas for improvement.Key Qualifications: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.Strong experience in troubleshooting and maintaining conveyor systems, robotics, and electrical/mechanical equipment.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities.Ability to adapt quickly and implement process improvements.Proficiency in MS Office and warehouse management systems (WMS).Strong working knowledge of distribution center maintenance operations.Schedule: Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:00amNCW is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
