We seek a detail-oriented Construction Permit & Document Administrator to support construction projects in Detroit. This role focuses on permit coordination, document management, and administrative support to ensure smooth project operations. The ideal candidate has experience with construction permitting, document control, and industry software such as Autodesk Build (ACC Build) and Procore. Key Responsibilities: Permitting & Compliance: Manage and coordinate permit applications with the City of Detroit. Ensure safety paperwork is up to date. Assist with OCIP (Owner-Controlled Insurance Program) incidents onsite. Project Administration & Coordination: Provide administrative support in the construction trailer and assist visitors. Handle billing, payments, and subcontractor documentation. Work with the Project Manager (PM) on progress payments and financials. Coordinate with Project Engineers (PEs) on project documents. Follow up with Accounts Payable (AP) in Houston for payment processing. Document Control & Software Management: Assist in organizing and managing construction documents within Autodesk Build. Utilize Bluebeam, Revit, and AutoCAD for document administration. Qualifications & Skills: Experience in construction administration, permitting, or document control. Familiarity with Detroit permitting processes. Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC Build), Procore, Bluebeam, Revit, or AutoCAD is a plus. Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask and collaborate.
