Title: Business Systems AnalystEnsure all your application information is up to date and in order before applying for this opportunity.Location: Miami, FL- Hybrid (Hybrid)Duration: 6 Months+Compensation: $35.00 - 43.00/hrWork Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the USBusiness Systems AnalystSummary:The Business Systems Analyst is the liaison between the business and IT and is responsible for understanding the business needs and translating them into functional requirements for the development of new or enhanced systems. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and other team members throughout the software development lifecycle. The role ensures that requirements are well-documented, complete, and accurately reflect the needs of the business. Responsibilities: Work with key business sponsors to create current and future state Process Maps and Data Flow Diagrams. Support business process modeling and reengineering efforts to optimize operations. Elicit requirements and business rules using interviews, workshops, brainstorming, and questionnaires. Write User Stories and convert into functional application specifications, high-level designs, and technical documentation. Coordinate the review and approval of requirements with project team members and stakeholders. Control, analyze, and communicate approved changes to requirements through the software development lifecycle. Facilitate communication with business, management, and peers throughout the project lifecycle. Assist in reviewing and validating test plans and cases, ensuring alignment with business requirements. Help identify and track defects. Participate in the user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure functionality meets business needs. Coordinate UAT as required. Participate in design discussions and document Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs). Partner with development teams to assist with technical requirements and ensure technical feasibility and implementation. Review applications throughout the development lifecycle to ensure requirements are met. Create and review user interface designs to ensure they meet business and usability requirements, working closely with UX/UI teams. Evaluate project complexity, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies. Assist in project planning, scoping, and tracking activities. Provide estimates on the analysis process. Supports the team in issue resolution and risk management with oversight from senior team members. Follow best practices and standards for business analysis and application design under the guidance of senior staff. Assist in evaluating third-party software as potential business solutions under the guidance of senior team members Monitor system performance, diagnose and resolve production issues, and recommend solutions to ensure operational efficiency and system reliability in support of business objectives as required as required. data; ; work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. business office, light traffic). Skillset / Experience: 3+ years experience in creating user requirements documentation (e.g. BRD, User Stories, FRD, Process maps, Prototyping, Traceability Matrix, Test Cases and Test Plans)) 3+ years experience in creating wireframes (FIGMA), process flow or prototyping to refine requirements 3+ years experience with Microsoft Office Suite products 3+ years experience working in software development methodologies (i.e. Agile, Waterfall) 3+ years experience with requirements management and collaboration tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, FIGMA, Jira, etc.) 1+ years in the cruise and/or travel industry. Ability to understand technical requirements and data models. Working knowledge of security standards and best practices (e.g. PCI and PII) Strong communication, collaboration, time-management, and organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communications in English. Ability to learn new technologies and concepts. Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team. Ability to think critically, problem solve creatively and perform root cause analysis. Ability to provide input to help problem solve. Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines. Analytical and detailed oriented with a strong business sense. Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload, and achieve effective results. Proficiency in MS Office products.
