Volt is immediately hiring for Small Parts Machine Operators in Colorado Springs, CO. Machine Operator/ Inspector We are seeking a detail-oriented Machine Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machines and be comfortable working with small tooling and machinery. This role involves inspecting machines and performing tasks that require precision and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities:Inspect CNC machines and ensure they are operating correctly.Perform 60% of work under a microscope, focusing on springs, coils, cabling and small components to inspect for defectsWork with proprietary machines and make necessary adjustments.Utilize computer knowledge for machine adjustments and troubleshooting.Handle coiling tasks and other small-scale mechanical operations.Qualifications:Experience focusing on work under a microscope or magnifying glassExperience with small machinery and tooling.Strong hand-eye coordination, with hobbies such as building or jewelry making being a plus.Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with intricate components.Familiarity with medical device assembly and electronic assembly is beneficial.Comfortable using a microscope for detailed work for majority of the shiftPreferred Skills:Knowledge of CNC machines and their operation.Ability to make precise adjustments and troubleshoot issues.Experience with companies like Allegiant or tasks related to medical device assembly and electronic assembly.Company Culture:We value internal promotions and encourage employees to grow within the company.A strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for detailed work are essential. 2nd shift--3:00 PM until 1:00 AM Monday through Friday.
