Specific duties include: (1) implementing measures to prevent disease and enhance animal nutrition; (2) optimizing herd health, production, and performance for breeding management operations; (3) identifying, analyzing, and implementing processes to improve breeding practices; (4) coordinating production needs with unit manager; and (5) assisting in continuous evaluation and development of animal welfare policy to improve animal care.
