Volt is immediately hiring a Sr. Project Manager with Pressure Vessel Experience, for an industry leader in cryogenic equipment, located in Theodore, Alabama. In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of a project from contract to award to completion. As the Sr. Project Manager you will:Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure that the project deliverables are metResponsible for all commercial and administrative requirements during project executionReview, understand and interpret customer specifications and contract requirementsDraft, review and issue Project Change OrdersLead and oversee in-house Design, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Installation phasesProvide technical guidance and problem resolutionCoordinate material purchasing requirements, develop requisitions, oversee vendor progressMaintain Project Management Tools and Best PracticesPrepare and present management reviews of assigned projectsAbility to mentor junior staff and provide guidance to their professional developmentThis is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have:Bachelor's degree from a four-year university or in lieu of degree 4 years relevant work experienceMinimum 8 years applicable project management experience in a manufacturing environmentPMI or PMP certification is desirableExtensive experience managing high-impact projects with multiple stakeholders and business functionsExperience developing and managing project financials (forecasting, cost accruals, reconciliation)Experience managing vendor relations and expectationsExperience in leadership and team buildingExperience working with Industry Standard Codes (ASME, B31, ASTM, AWS, OSHA) and or international equivalents a plusExcellent computer skills including MS Office, MS Project, Quickbase, experience with JD Edwards a plusSalary: $110000-120000 per year *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Benefits: Since this is a Direct Hire role, benefits will be provided by the employer.
