Job Summary:Apply below after reading through all the details and supporting information regarding this job opportunity.The Mechanical CAD Designer will create designs and technical drawings for chemicaldispense systems and blending equipment. The successful candidate will work closelywith engineers and other professionals within the AES Project Engineering group tocreate and improve manufacturing systems and processes and develop drawings, usingSolidWorks, for a wide variety of equipment.Job Responsibilities:â— Work with all disciplines on project teams to meet schedules and projectdeliverables. Includes participation in design and safety reviews, status updatesand process documentation as needed.â— Using SolidWorks, modify and create mechanical drawings from concepts and"red-lined" documents. Implement standard mechanical design anddocumentation.â— Work in conjunction with the engineering team to ensure implementation ofcustomer specications.â— Specify and source mechanical components for the equipment. Implementcomponent selection standards.â— Create / review mechanical Bills of Materials as required for accuracy andappropriate component selection.â— Interface with production employees to assure high quality manufacturing and"Best Practices" in the assembly area.â— Review and approve changes to the mechanical manufacturing processes andstandards.â— Initiate, update and approve Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).â— Create and maintain high level mechanical area layouts.â— Create / review mechanical manufacturing quality and testing procedures.â— Support nal test teams as necessary to ensure equipment is fully tested beforeshipment.â— Assist with design reviews and project related work as required.â— Assist with training manufacturing personnel.Requirements:â— Associates degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering related eld and 2+ years workexperience in equipment or semi related industries.â— Procient in MS Oce (Excel, Word).â— Procient in the methods to read, edit and create P&ID's, schematics, and otherproduct documentation.â— Procient in the areas of manufacturing and assembly as it pertains to assignedproducts and projects.â— Procient in tools required for engineering and project execution includingSolidWorks, AutoCAD, Agile, and other engineering design systems.Knowledgeable of a broad range of tools that may be applicable to decisions onimplementation and improvement in existing systems.â— Associate in SolidWorks preferred.
