PROLIM () is currently seeking Senior Systems Engineer for one of our top client in Boulder, COApply (by clicking the relevant button) after checking through all the related job information below.DescriptionThe selected candidate will be the point of contact for aspects of systems engineering with a focus on managing and leading agile processes for the program. The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:Implement and manage Agile practices across all AP 2025 IRAD projectsPlan, coordinate, lead program increments across all AP 2025 IRAD projectsManage workflows 1) within teams, 2) between teams, and 3) across work centers using Jira Scrum and Kanban boardsIncrease throughput by identifying constraints, mitigate dependencies causing bottlenecks, and reducing wait timeIdentify opportunities to standardize recurring processesSchedule and lead program increment (PI) planning and backlog reviewsExperience with managing and pruning backlogFacilitate project leads with time phasing milestones and develop/map epics, features, stories to milestonesCreates Confluence and Jira templates for project leadsCoordinate multiple agile teams to ensure alignment with agile practicesDrive continuous improvement by enhancing processes, removing impediments, and optimizing value deliveryAct as a key liaison between teams and stakeholders to help navigate organizational challengesFoster a culture of respect and psychological safety to enable collaboration among individuals on the trainExperience with Lean and Scaled Agile Framework approachesUnderstand project budget and how budgeting works within an agile environmentExperience with transitioning mature teams from Waterfall to AgileCreate metrics beneficial to managing project progress and identifying efficiencies and inefficienciesDerive and allocate requirements into detailed design.Oversees and manages the engineering design, development of software, systems, and hardware engineering.Drives the engineering process development, continuous improvement, and affordability initiatives within their program.Communicates regularly with program management, customers, and engineering management.Coordinates with HW/SW team to perform retests and regression tests once defects are corrected.Generates applicable documentation.Provides problem resolution and improvement recommendations with strong time management skills.Minimal (10%) travel to NG and Government locations within U.S.This requisition may be filled at either a Principal Systems Engineer or a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer level.BQs for a Principal Systems Engineer:Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 3 years of experience, or a PhD and 1 years of experience.Excellent technical writing skills for generating analysis and reports.Knowledge of a requirements management tool (i.e. DOORS)Experience with MS Office suite of tools (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application and is required to start.Ability and willingness to travel up-to 10% to support business needsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Math or related discipline.A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued TS/SCI clearanceExperience in modeling tools (preferably Rhapsody or Cameo).Experience in using a requirements management tool, such as DOORS to update and write system level requirements.Experience with SysML, UML.Experience in programs using the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodology.About PROLIMPROLIM is a leading provider of PLM, IoT and Digital transformation solutions to Global Fortune 1000 companies.
