QC Sample Management Specialist

QC Sample Management SpecialistMake your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position.Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a QC Sample Management Specialist for a contract position in Novato, CA. The opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Perform sample management tasks including sample receipt, control, and disposal.Generate stability study protocols.Conduct stability and reference standard pulls.Maintain stability, lot release, reserve, and retention sample inventory.Perform preventative maintenance on stability/sample chambers.Handle domestic and international shipments of samples and critical materials.Interact regularly with other departments.Participate in laboratory project initiatives such as 5S, LEAN, and Six Sigma.Engage in inspection readiness, regulatory inspection support, and self-inspection activities.Manage quality system attributes such as minor deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and action items.Perform other duties as assigned.May be required to work on holidays and/or scheduled manufacturing shut down operations to support business needs.Qualifications:At least one year in a cGMP/GLP laboratory; quality control experience is preferred.0-1 years of relevant laboratory experience desired.Ability to follow written instructions and perform tasks with direct or minimal supervision.Proficiency with computers, including Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel.Good written, verbal, and communication skills.Good documentation skills.Ability to work independently.If this job is a match for your background, we would be honored to receive your application!Providing consulting opportunities to TALENTed people since 1987, we offer a host of opportunities including contract, contract to hire and permanent placement.
